Nice to meet you!

My name is Alexandra and I have been designing spaces for as long as I can remember.
I started off playing with my mom's Chief Architect on the family computer and drafting spaces on graph paper. Eventually I followed this passion to college where I studied Architecture and art history at Roger Williams in Rhode Island.

Out of school I was able to work for a prestigious interior designer out of Wellesley MA and after several years (and with her blessing) I launched my own design studio in 2017 under "A. Giroux Design".
The experience of helping people create their dream homes was incredibly fulfilling and I had a wonderful time working with my clients around the Boston area until receiving a job offer to be a photo stylist at Wayfair.

In 2020 everything changed, I moved out to Nantucket island and while working for an architecture firm on the island I witnessed just how successful design can be even when the clients are scattered all across the country. I did some freelance work with the virtual design company HAVENLY (more on that in my blog!) and learned the ropes of how a virtual studio would need to function to meet the needs of my clients. 
 
I became slightly obsessed with the idea of starting an entirely virtual interior design studio.
 
Despite my prior success working hand-in-hand with clients around Massachusetts, the idea to build a company doing fully remote interior design felt....a little delusional. 

I encourage all of my clients to run towards their crazy ideas, so why would I run away from mine?

Summer 2024 Dr Delulu was born! 

Dr Delulu is a virtual design platform created by yours truly to cater to clients all over the country seeking a simple solution to step out of the beige box. 

My dream with Dr Delulu is to help you create something incredibly unique but...within a totally normal timeline...and with a totally normal budget. 

We'll work together to create a look that knows no 'style' or 'trend', but feels uniquely YOU...
all delivered simply via this virtual design platform.
